Partnership at Calvary
Romans 12:4-5—Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of one another.
The first step toward becoming a formal Partner at Calvary is to participate in our Partnership Class. We strive to offer Partnership Classes a few times each year.
Our next Partnership Class is: Sundays, January 26, February 2 and 9, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
During the Partnership Class, we will look deeper at how the many parts of the local church (the body of Christ) work as ONE. Our mission is to help people follow Jesus together. We are real people striving in God’s calling and partnering together in His mission. Some light pre-reading is encouraged for this class and will be provided when you RSVP. Attending the Partnership Class does not commit you to Partnership – it’s a great place to start if you simply want to learn more about a more formal role in the family here at Calvary.
If, following completion of the class, you want to continue pursuing Partnership, you’ll complete a Request for Membership Application, take steps to be baptized (if you’ve not already been baptized by immersion), and meet with one of our Elders before being formally welcomed into Partnership by the church family.
Please contact Bobbie Lee Barr using the form below to RSVP and get your reading materials. If you’re unavailable for the next upcoming class, but are interested in a future class, please RSVP anyway and note that you have a conflict and would like to be notified about future classes.
